The Psychoanalytic Forum, now in its fourth year, will present Hans Loewald, M.D. as the guest speaker for its meeting in New York, December 16. His topic will be “Qualifications of the Psychoanalyst,” and Associate Member Judith Fingert Chused will be the Moderator.
Presented under the joint auspices of the Program Committee and the Committee on Associate and Affiliate Members, the Psychoanalytic Forum meets Thursday afternoons at both the May and December Meetings of the Association. Its purpose is to provide Associate and Affiliate Members opportunities not only to hear a respected senior colleague discuss relevant issues, but to question and comment, with sufficient time allowed for both. The meeting is usually moderated by an Associate or Affiliate Member, and, although it is open to all members of the Association, the Associate and Affiliate Members are encouraged to take the more active roles.
Kenneth Calder, M.D., will be the speaker next May in Boston with Associate Member Elise Snyder, M.D., acting as moderator. Tentatively scheduled for the December, 1982 meeting is Leo Stone, M.D.
