To the Editor:

In attempting to make travel arrangements for analytic meetings, using the Riverside Travel Agency, I have had repeatedly unsatisfactory experiences. I have personally checked with many colleagues and found invariable dissatisfaction. I presented these findings to the Executive Committee for investigative action.

They responded by stating that my complaint was isolated and not ubiquitous, as I alleged, and only if I could show them many other similar experiences would they consider looking into it further, with the possibility of finding a new travel agent.

I feel that my experience is widespread but that the passivity of many analysts has prevented them from voicing complaints. I therefore encourage anyone who has had a negative experience with Riverside Travel to please communicate it to me, so that I may present it to the Council.
