In order to effectively monitor and encourage the scientific development of psychoanalysis, the Committee on Scientific Activities requires an active two-way communication with the membership of the American Psychoanalytic Association. This notice is to draw attention to the Committee's goals: to pull together various threads of psychoanalytic scientific activity and research and to identify needs not currently being met. In this way the Committee can function as a hub for proposals and critiques. For example, the committee requests groups or members conducting psychoanalytic research, particularly that dealing with the clinical process, to inform the committee of your endeavors.
