Dear Colleagues:

I can imagine that my urging additional contributions to the BUILDING FUND of the American is about as newsworthy as “dog bites man.” But I think a little bit of specific information about contributions to the Building Fund may be of interest and stimulate contributions and further contributions.

Over 90 contributors have given the American $1,000. or more. Over 317 contributors have made one or more contributions to the Building Fund.

The handsome bronze plaque in the Central Office which lists those who have contributed $1,000. or more to the Building Fund has space for 192 names. Can you help us plan for next year and the purchase of another bronze plaque to hold more names by making a contribution of at least $1,000. or adding to the amount you have already contributed so that we find ourselves with more than 192 $1,000. or more contributors? Let's retire the mortgage!
