Two amendments to the by-laws have been overwhelmingly passed by the membership.

Candidates now automatically become affiliate members upon acceptance for training by their institutes. Votes on this amendment were 296 in favor and 19 opposed.

The second amendment streamlined membership procedures for those who have graduated from an institute but who have not previously been affiliate members. In such instances, the graduate need only be reviewed by the Council Membership Committee, rather than by the membership committees of both Council and Board. This passed 294 to 20 with one abstention.
