I was disturbed by the polemical tone of Dr. Pyle's “Politics and Public Policy” column [TAP 35/1]. I would like to know if, in fairness, you intend to provide equal space to members who may not share Dr. Pyle's political views. I would also ask whether you feel it is appropriate for the official newsletter of a supposedly scientific organization to publish a column advancing partisan political views on controversial issues and personalities.
