Dear Sylvia:
Thank you for your letter.1 I will go into the whole matter again. You do realize, don't you, that the Scientific Bulletin has a limited circulation and is not a publication? Also there is quite a big change in the atmosphere in the Society at the present time, especially among the bulk, that is to say those who came into the Society after all these troubles had become history.
I am sorry that you have been shocked and startled. Sometimes it is difficult to steer an even course between doing nothing and doing something. I will write again.
