Dear Professor,
I am taking the liberty of reporting to you on the progress of the analysis of Frau Marton (paranoia).
For all of four weeks she has maneuvered around with unimportant heterosexual stories which she shoves conspicuously into the foreground and on account of which she pretends to reproach herself.
Meanwhile it comes out without the slightest resistance that in boarding school she had her “ideal” among her girlfriends and that she always preferred her “incomparable” mother (at her father's expense) and that at the age of two years she was repeatedly indecently touched by a slightly older girl. She ascribes no significance to all these things. She is “absolutely not perverse.”
