Vienna, March 23, 1909
IX., Berggasse 19
Dear Doctor,
At the same time as your letter there came a communication from Jung announcing his arrival in Vienna for Thursday evening1. I therefore repeat my invitation to you, which is not strictly tied to Sunday.
We will acknowledge your work2 in the small committee. It must be the necessary continuation of the previous one3 and will, I hope, coincide with the corresponding piece of my “Methodology.” In addition, we will hold an America conference. My brother is very probably not coming along, because there is now complete turmoil at his work. The trip by way of Patras with the Austro-Americana would suit me very well, but the ship leaves on August 21, supposedly takes fourteen days, and we are in danger of arriving too late because of some chance occurrence.
The Jahrbuch also seems to me to be a shining accomplishment. It is at the same time an incarnation, and, for its part, it holds the cause together.
