Dear friend,
Many thanks for the enclosures, the nonpersonal part1 of which will be returned. I only want to say, two more such analyses of paranoia and there will be a splendid contribution to the Jahrbuch. How distinct is the prominence of the homosexual components, namely the re-formation of sublimations. What you yourself fantasize about homosexuality will be saved and at least communicated to Sadger.2 I will gladly give you my ideas about it when it takes more or less complete shape in you.
Your article in the Jahrbuch is now being read by everyone; instead of giving you my own judgment I am giving you that of a knowledgeable third party. He found the first part quite outstandingly good; the third, about suggestion, less original, since you confined yourself to working out my remark on the theory of sexuality.3 I have no doubt about the complete success of the whole thing, only I am unsure whether the term introjection will prove to be lasting.
It is small comfort that I was able to predict so well the course of events with Dr. Pollak. Let us be happy that we had so much of him. I am still not one hundred percent, but I don't want you to spare me in matters of thought transference. This weakness is about to succumb to being surmounted. The recent experiments with Frau Jelinek seem not to
