Dear friend,
Thank you for today's offprint. Jung writes that they also especially appreciate your introjection paper in Zurich.1 Stanley Hall has responded that he has not found your paper2 among his, but he is looking for it in order to have it translated and published, if it is not too long. He thought he already received it. I enlightened him, sent him the paper, and am now waiting to see how he will react. I hope he won't find it too long. But I didn't neglect to tell him that it is designated for publication in connection with your Hungarian book.
So much for the literary business news. Otherwise I am still hoping that the stationery store has really sent you the notebook. I am recovering quickly as a result of strongly diminishing activity, but I am dissatisfied with the fact that health can only be coupled with poverty. News about your intended coming here is also due.
I am revising the Theory of Sexuality, which, at Deuticke's behest, is being changed so little that it can go to the printer's at the end of January. I now see how flawed and unsatisfactory especially II and III3 are. But the time has not yet arrived to replace them with something else.
Cordially,
Freud
