Vienna, March 17, 1910
IX., Berggasse 19
Dear friend,
Understood. I will be finished with Leonardo before Easter, will therefore await you at our house on Sunday evening, and on Monday evening at 8:30 we will travel through the night to Nuremberg. Colleague Steiner1 is reserving a sleeping compartment, at least for two people.
The Theory of Sexuality ought to have reached you already. I am enclosing the excerpt again. Schwarz is still bearable, a tasteful person at least.
My daughter is doing so well that she can come home the day after tomorrow. Let us hope this operation has been of lasting benefit to her, but quien sabe?
Dunapentele is vexing. During the last few days I acquired some very beautiful things, essentially to keep me in a good mood, which I will show you in Vienna. You have yet to learn antiquities and mushrooms from me.
There are dark rumors going around here about a big strike that the clinicians are going to launch against those of us from ΨA.2 Sinister things, which one has to confront with equanimity.
I am being so brief because I want to write on Leonardo.
Kind regards,
Freud
