Vienna, November 8, 1910
IX., Berggasse 19
Dear friend,
I am replying immediately on account of the enclosure. I have corresponded with Jung about the same small themata and don't share his views this time. Limiting membership to academicians would have no prospects at all of getting through in Vienna.1 In contrast to you, I also don't share the opinion that the Korrespondenzblatt is being harmed by the Zentralblatt. The Korrespondenzblatt is not a scientific organ at all, and is meant only for personal communication from the Central Office to the members, which is of no interest to the public. Unfortunately, I must concede that Adler-Stekel's tactlessness and lack of consideration make understanding very difficult. I am chronically annoyed with both of them. But even Jung, as president, could cast aside his sensitivities about earlier events. It is difficult to have to educate so much.
Your case2 is very nice and should be studied closely. I just didn't want to postpone the work. I have even immersed myself in the work on Schreber,
