Vienna, October 25, 1911
IX., Berggasse 19
Dear friend,
The matter is becoming very interesting. To your misunderstanding should also be added the act of false obedience, in that you drew a line [Strich] in the middle of the letter and called it that. I did, after all, ask you to “strike” both points.
I certainly didn't understand anything but that both objections originated from your private conception. There was no mention of them in the enclosed letter. We will see what she does or causes to have done now.
I am enclosing a clipping for you today in which “Schottländer”1 thinks kindly of you. Keep it!
A Prof. Jul. Polgár from the Graduate School of Business has expressed a desire to me in writing to translate the Worcester lectures. I naturally referred him to you and suggested to him that he should get in touch with you in general.
I send kind regards from domestic cares and my own miserable cold.
Yours,
Freud
