Budapest,
August 28, 1911 [1912]1
VII., Erzsébet-körút 54
Dear Professor,
I already have news from the Hotel Seehof in Caldonazzo; they promised me that they will reserve an appropriate room for me.
So, it remains firm: I will depart on the 31st and will arrive at noon on September 1 in Bolzano, where I have likewise reserved a room for myself at the Archduke Heinrich.
Today I bought the volume “Great Britain” by Baedeker; perhaps you will take it upon yourself to get the volume “London and Its Environs” in Bolzano (likewise by Bädeker [sic]).
The imminence of our seeing each other again spares me the necessity of more detailed communication—I will save everything for our personal talks.2
Frau G. also sends kind regards.
Yours truly,
Ferenczi
The content of the letter suggests that Ferenczi simply made a mistake, writing 1911 rather than 1912.
