Dear friend,
Thought transference has held up after all. I accept your new reports about the Rooster-Man and will probably ask you to publish him as soon as I have finished “Magic and Omnipotence,”1 so that I am no longer separated from totemism by an intermediary.
Your pseudo-syphilis has captured my interest completely; of course I didn't believe in it for a moment, but what actually was the physical determinant? I don't see it clearly.
