Internationale Zeitschrift für Ärztliche Psychoanalyse
Budapest, January 3, 1913
Dear Professor,
I intended to spend the double holiday in Vienna, but then I thought about the matter and decided to wait another week; in the meantime the—progressively less severe—local manifestations will, I hope, have subsided completely. Yesterday, strangely, a (slight) swelling of the left parotid gland appeared. Milder swellings of this gland, incidentally, have also occurred earlier from time to time (about three and five years ago).
I was pleased about the good mood expressed in your last letter. You actually do feel best when you can be independent of the whole world.—But right now you are in this enviable position.
With regard to editorial matters, I will get in touch directly with Rank, who will probably report everything to you.
Kind regards from me and Frau G.
Yours,
Ferenczi
