[Budapest,] December 21, 1913
Dear Professor,
Since I probably have to go to Vienna on the 25th because of the operation on my nose, I wasn't able to spend this Sunday with you and Jones (to whom I send best regards), and I can only wish you a pleasant holiday and a safe journey in writing.
I hope I will hear pleasant news from Jones (whom I would certainly like to see either in Vienna or in Budapest).
Too bad that this Christmas will pass without our having talked things out about technical and personal matters.
Kind regards,
Yours,
Ferenczi
I also wish all your dear ones a happy holiday.
