Vienna, February 1, 1914
IX., Berggasse 19
Dear friend,
The only good news: the strike1 is over, things can start up again. Nothing else, other than the fact that I am writing, constantly writing,2 and don't have any time for it.
Magnus Hirschfeld was here this morning, and at noon we are expecting van Eeden,3 who gave a lecture here, along with Heller and Rank.
Your boastfulness about your health, and your second edition strike a very agreeable chord.
Cordially, with apologies for my brevity,
Yours,
Freud
