Vienna, March 4, 1914
IX., Berggasse 19
Dear friend,
We have been accepted in Brioni. I suggest we leave on Thursday evening (Maundy Thursday), so that we arrive on Friday noon.
Heller claims that he sent you the etching of my portrait. I am very curious to know what you think about it. Family is very dissatisfied, while others praise it highly.
Narcissism is progressing and will be finished in March. I will present it to you, also in order that you can indicate in which passages I can refer to your Sense of Reality.1
I am in favor of putting Jelgersma's lecture not in the journal but in the form of the first supplement.
On Saturday my wife is going to Hamburg, we hope at the right time.2 I greet you cordially in expectation of news from you.
Yours,
Freud
