Internationale Zeitschrift für Ärztliche Psychoanalyse
Budapest, March 6, 1914
Dear Professor,
First (as almost always), a series of thank-yous: I thank you this time for the favorable settlement of the matter of the Easter trip and for the etching, which I find excellent. The engraver doesn't yet seem to be a “modern” one; nevertheless, a somewhat bolder breeze is blowing in his work. I am convinced that this man can also do something in the Moses matter. But it would still be worth the trouble to try out my friend (Berény) as well.
The march of our troops against Zurich in the first issue of the second volume is downright impressive. Eitingon's wonderfully sharp polemic against the murder of the concept of ucs.1 was a pleasant surprise to me.—
—I am very busy (completely booked up almost every day); therapeutic results can be achieved—albeit with great effort—with sufficient perseverance on both sides.
