Internationale Zeitschrift für Ärztliche Psychoanalyse
Budapest, March 16, 1914
Dear Professor,
As a postscript to my congratulations I am sending you only the information that I would like to spend next Sunday (March 22) in Vienna, in order to talk out all personal, business, and scientific matters before the Easter trip. I request your kind reply as to whether or not I am coming at an inconvenient time.
Kind regards,
Ferenczi
Regarding Abraham's plan,1 I am letting you know in advance that I am in favor of waiting to see what the effects of the bombs2 are and perhaps to proceed only after the Jahrbuch has come out.
Abraham's letter of March 16, 1914, has been published only in abridged form, so his plan can only be deduced indirectly from Freud's reference in his reply to “your proposal of aggressive action against Jung” (Freud/Abraham, March 16, 1914, p. 167).
The publication of the critical discussions in the Zeitschrift (see letter 470, n. 5) and of Freud's “History of the Psycho-Analytic Movement” in the Jahrbuch.
