Dear Professor,
Since I can't count on new manuscripts, I am returning to you today the manuscript of the “primal scene” paper with thanks.
Today I am translating the last three pages of the Theory of Sexuality. Then I want to try to write down the hair-raising train of thought heedless of the “disgrace” which is to be expected.
Additional plan of work: analysis of Pierre Besuchov2 (typical obsessional neurosis with all the character traits called for by you).
Perhaps I will go to Budapest again one of these days, especially since a brother of Gisela3 (the eldest)4 is deathly ill.
Otherwise, I can't write you anything; nothing special is happening here.
