Pápa, March 4, 1915
Dear Professor,
Since my publisher is inclined to put out a third volume in addition to the second edition of your Five Lectures and the translation of the Theory of Sexuality, I would like to translate your essay “On Dreams”1 (44 pages). I also request your “exequatur”2 to it.
In the foreword I must naturally refer insistently to the sketchy character of this work and to the significance of the source book.
Yesterday—after a stay of a day and a half—I returned from Budapest and continued my now customary existence. In Budapest I made a very last attempt at a transfer.
Kind regards!
Ferenczi
