Dear friend,
It is remarkable what artifices you employ when you near the fulfillment of the repressed wish and are supposed to possess the mother in every form. I underestimate the strength of these complexes, probably out of personal inexperience.
I will be very pleased to see you in Vienna. If you come here first it will be an opportunity to bring along the portfolio with the metapsychology. I am thinking of abandoning the paper about the cs. and replacing it with a more appropriate one, for example, “The Three Viewpoints of MΨ”. If you go to Berlin first, it won't work, as you know. Tomorrow I will send off your notes about accident neuroses by registered mail.
Your crusade to Syria as a flight from the woman greatly interested me.
