[Budapest, undated]1
Dear Professor,
I must admit that I, too, would not like to bear the responsibility for the displeasure of a few—perhaps painful—weeks in Feketehegy, so I will add belatedly to my telegram of today2 the information about Feketehegy that I have up to now: It is actually a very small spa—certainly splendidly situated (about 700 meters in altitude), in the midst of magnificent forests—but up to now the food and lodging were poor. This year a bank took over the management of the concern, which promises favorable changes. Running water, bathing facilities, very good drinking water are available. They promise electric lighting for your room. Otherwise, petroleum lighting in general.
That is all I was able to find out. If, on the basis of this letter, you want to change something in your reply which was requested by telegram, then I ask you to send another telegram immediately. I will withhold my reply to Feketehegy until 6 P.M., June 8.
Kind regards,
Ferenczi
N.B.: For July, only the rooms that were specified for you are immediately available on the 1st; I couldn't come until the 12th.
This letter has been placed here as a reply to Freud's letter of June 2 (see letter 746).
The telegram has not been found.
