Lomnicz, September 13, 1918
Dear friend,
I have now been informed about everything and am answering your letter in a hurry so that the courier can take it along.
The change in the Congress is advantageous in every respect, except for the possibility of not getting the Germans. We will see. I consider Rank's presence in Budapest very advantageous.
Our stay here will depend on a) the weather, which is miserable, b) Dr. Lévy's arrival, which is uncertain; in any case, we also want to stay in Budapest and be in Vienna around the 20th to the 22nd.
The end of the vacation is becoming apparent in me. Today, unsuspected, a “thought” [Einfall] about our Lamarckian fantasies, the first impulse of its kind in two months.
Farewell until we meet again soon, and greet your dear Frau Gisela, formerly Pálos, cordially for me.
Yours,
Freud
