Dr. Ferenczi Sándor
idegorvos
Budapest, August 15, 1920
Dear Professor,
Now we can at least correspond with each other. Who knows when and what hindrances are yet to come; let us hope not before our meeting in The Hague, for which I and my wife are making all preparations.
Since August 2 we have been living in a small, not very luxurious, but quiet boardinghouse with ample cuisine in the immediate surroundings of Budapest (in the “Cool Valley”).1 I keep office hours once a week in the Nagydiófa utca. I was no longer able to withdraw from continuing the treatment with Sokolnicka.
Since I have been here I have been writing the Congress lecture and a paper about “tic.” I didn't receive the invitation to the Congress course2 from the Berlin group (dated June 21) until today. I replied in the affirmative.
