Dear Professor,
Our last—unhappily concluded—visit was only a preliminary trial. It wasn't until about noon that we got possession of the “red border certificate” in Scharnitz, and tried to find out if we couldn't get to see each other right on the same day. We are staying here until September 2. As
soon as the weather clears, we will telegraph you (one day before our visit to Seefeld).
