Dear Professor,
This time I would like to lay claim to your time in a few more personal matters. First of all, I would like to be informed about your vacation plans and would like to inform you about my own at the same time. Your plans interest me because I—if appropriate, on traveling through on the way to my summer place of residence, but, if appropriate, even sooner, perhaps at Whitsun—would like to chat with you for a few hours, in order to talk
through all current matters, and to make possible once again a scientifically and personally significant exchange of thoughts, which eludes me so in my isolation.
I wrote to Frau Oberholzer and asked her to look for an appropriate place for us to stay in Switzerland. I am thinking this time of being away for two and a half months (from the beginning of July to the middle of September), to be sure, I am taking along two pupils (foreigners), so that the vacation won't be a complete one.

But if
