Vienna, January 3, 1926
IX., Berggasse 191
Dear friend!
I thank you for your telegraphic and written report. The matter has, to be sure, turned out differently than we had imagined, but we had not counted on the possibility that Eitingon would tear himself so energetically from his isolation and take over these serious duties. We have a telegram from him2 [to the effect] that he is coming to Vienna on Wednesday evening. On the same evening we are holding a mourning session, to which I will also come. I am in favor of having the second issue of the Zeitschrift totally or in large part dedicated to honoring Abraham (bibliography, picture, etc.). The first issue will contain only my brief obituary notice.3
The questions about your moving to Berlin and the definitive presidency have not been finally solved. Further developments should determine that.
Not much new to report about us. The vacation is over today.
With kind regards to you and your wife.
Yours,
Freud
With kind regards.
Yours,
