Dear Professor,
Cheers to the New Year!
A somewhat better night and an afternoon nap on top of that on the Sunday and holiday of today permits me to see the world and the future in a somewhat friendlier light. I am making use of this moment to offer you New Year's wishes, and I wish ya good healt' an' a vera, vera, long life!1 — myself, among other things, that you remain well disposed to me, now as before.
I naturally greet all the members of your family and also wish them all the best—already in order that you be more satisfied—but also in addition to that.—
Enclosed I send a little paper.2 I also for the time being put off replying in the affirmative to the enclosed invitation of the Berlin “Medizinische Welt.”3 But perhaps it is not inappropriate to give the general practitioners a look into our witches' kitchen for once. I would also gladly put these pages at the disposal of the Revue Psychanalytique.4
I request your kind opinion about the paper altogether, and then about whether it belongs in the Zeitschrift, the Medizinische Welt, or both.
Cordially
