Vienna, February 27, 1928
IX., Berggasse 19
Dear friend,
Anna has returned from Budapest elevated, gratified, lavished with gifts, and [is] already on the way to Paris. I thank you, your dear wife, and the whole Society most warmly for the cordial and honorable reception that you accorded her.
The one of your reports that pleased me the most was the fact that you are finally experiencing a revival of interest in analysis in your Hungary, and are nourishing it by means of your excellent lectures. It will soon be exactly ten years since our Congress and everything that was connected with it.
So little is happening here—the house is so quiet—, that I may close the short letter with a cordial greeting.
Yours,
Freud
