Semmering, July 13, 1928
Dear friend,
Enclosed [is] the letter1 from a man who belongs to the uncomfortable category of those who never come to grips with the father imago, and for that reason eternally run after it, but in order to bark at it, the way dogs do with an automobile. I am happy to be able to refuse him; try him out yourself, if you have time. If not, direct him, perhaps, to Berlin.
In expectation of your weekend, cordially,
Yours,
Freud
