Dr. Ferenczi
Budapest.

Dear Professor,
Eitingon's letter, which I received recently, is somewhat more optimistic than yours. He hopes that the Congress will go peacefully. The number of the Hungarian visitors to the Congress is diminishing from day to day. If it had been a matter of our being able to help with our votes, almost all of
us would have come. I think the Congress will be sparsely attended. I had half a mind to stay away myself, but I know that would be impermissible.
Let's hope you already have your summer residence. We are still in correspondence with Swiss hotels. The most probable thing is that we will be somewhere in the Engadin at the end of June.
My favorite theme, analytic therapy, is developing in an extremely interesting manner. Some of it will come already before the Congress.
With kindest regards to you all.
Yours,
Ferenczi
The letter (including letterhead) is typewritten; only the signature, “Ferenczi,” is handwritten.
