Dr. S. Ferenczi
Budapest
June 7, 19291
Dear Professor,
By chance, in Budapest I recently met the doctor who is treating you, Károlyi,2 who informed me about the lessening of your subjective complaints. This same happy piece of news was recently brought to me by your pupil, Dr. McCord,3 who didn't deprive himself of also making my acquaintance after Laforgue, Jung, and Freud.
I assume that you will move to Berchtesgaden on the 15th, according to plan. I am considering going to St. Moritz at the end of June with a small crowd of patients and spending the larger part of the summer there. I will postpone my actual vacation (without patients) until October and not begin again in Budapest until the beginning of November. On the trip to St. Moritz, we (my wife and I) want to get off in Salzburg and spend a day with you. In the hours in which you are busy I hope to converse with Fräulein Anna and your family circle, again enjoy the region which is so familiar to me, with the beautiful memories.
I decided to report on my technical experiences of the last few years in the form of a lecture at the Congress.
With kind regards to you all.
Yours,
Ferenczi
