28 August 1912
The Woodlands, Gowerton
Dear Professor Freud,
Just a line to thank you for the news about Ferenczi and Rank. I will make arrangements in London, and if you write to my wife there she will meet your train (in case you arrive before I do, which, however, is not likely; I expect to be in London on the 8th). You have the address, 13 Princes St., Cavendish Sq..
I leave here tomorrow and go to Partenkirchen and Zurich.
The August Imago arrived to-day, and I am in the middle of your Tabu article.1
Jung sent me the proofs of my article from the forthcoming number of the Jahrbuch, where it appears that he is publishing only a third of it, one case out of three, the rest to appear later (next year).2 As usual no explanation! I do not think I am specially impatient about my work being published, but I find 18 months a long time for an article written by special request, especially when it is not thought necessary to apologise for the delay.
In eager anticipation A reverdichi [Arrivederci]
Yours
Jones.
