Vienna, IX. Berggasse 19
My dear Jones,
I am sorry I must go on abusing your fine English as you have kept the Alexia gotica while giving up the Aphasia mot. and sensor.1
I am very glad to hear of your good news about our friends male and female, these are bright spots in life's dark disk.
I have not yet got Jungs last eluctation [elucidation] neither in the volume nor in Sonderabdruck, so I cannot react to this part of your letter. Presumably you are right.
I have got and answered already a letter from Mrs. Hoesch-Ernst postponing her to Oktober in Vienna, to be sure she betrayed neither her character nor her age in the letter, but my answer was in no ways compromising.
As for Eder's paper I am in the position to send it to you in mnscrpt, I found it full of misrepresentations but not suspicious in intention.
The cut from the Pall Mall Gazette you will get back after some delay, I enjoyed it very much although I am afraid the comparison with old Ch. Darwin will not hold good.
