14 July 1916
Vienna, IX. Berggasse 19
Dear Doctor,
Many thanks for your good news. When you see Herbert and Loe J., do not fail to give them my cordial greetings. When is the promised first visit to Vienna going to be?
Since the last issue of the third volume and the first issue of the new one, the Zeitschrift has been greatly delayed. The first number, which will appear soon, will be filled mainly with your works. It really must be possible for you to obtain the Zeitschrift in the same way as the other archives which you write about.
The first part of my lectures (Fehlleistungen) has already appeared.1 I regret that I cannot send it directly to you.
Both of my sons are still in the war, so far in good health, one in the north, the other in the south. On 16 July we are traveling to Bad Gastein (probably with Anna). Anything beyond that is uncertain.
I thank you very much for Trotter. ΨA stands rather isolated in the book. I have also received Holt. For many months no letters from America, nor have I sent anything there. Do you want to review the American publications (Putnam, Holt, Trotter)?2
May things continue well with you!
Cordially yours,
Freud
