Dear Professor,
I have not heard from you since leaving Vienna, but I suppose you rely on Rank and me to exchange the news; doubtless he shews you my letters.
Forsyth is back, deeply impressed with your technique and the excellence of your English. I am sure you found him a faithful analyst, and consolidated his devotion. He tells me that Rank should be in Holland, so I wired to him that though so far the government here has refused a permit we are still making efforts. I may go to Holland if he can't come here, though practice is a great tie just now. Loe is doing everything for him there, and would cross to meet him if Herbert were not ill (which may prevent their going to America). She has quite turned round, and is most entgegenkommend [accommodating] to Vienna, telephoning to me twice a week for news.
