Dear Jones,
Thanks for your good letter. I hasten to let you know that neither Anna nor I can recall ever having analyzed or controlled one female Dr. Wilson. You may doubt the reliability of my memory although its weakness would not show first on matters of analysis, but Anna's is unimpeachable and she is quite sure of not knowing such a person. So it may be a fraud, a mistake, or we did meet her under another name.
Middle of September we (Anna and I) leave again for Berlin; if it is possible we will stay at Tegel like the other times. But the situation of the Sanatorium seems to be endangered by debts. It may have collapsed at the time. I expect to pass 3-6 weeks at Berlin.
My booklet “Das Unglück in der Kultur” (or so) is now finished, not yet ripe for print. Will your press claim it for a translation?1
With kind wishes for you and your wife
affectionately yours
