Dear Professor,
My wife and I were both very much moved and pleased at receiving from you such a warm and hearty message of congratulation. Thank you, and also Anna, very much indeed. I am happy to say that the two people most concerned are thriving well. Nesta May is a lusty child and well versed in ψα lore. She promises to play her part with great success.
I heard a rumour (from Yale) that you were confined to a sanatorium in Vienna, but am hoping from your letter and a long telegram from Eitin-gon—neither of which indicate anything—that this is some misunderstanding. I wrote to E. and hope to have full news from him soon.
With our united thanks, and good wishes for a beneficial visit to Berlin
Yours always affectionately
Ernest Jones.
