Grundlsee, Rebenburg
Dear Jones,
I gather with pleasure from a letter by McCord that you had invited him to write a review for the Journal of the splendid book by Healy1 He
enclosed a copy of it for me, and I ask you, if you make any alterations, not “to take off the edges.”2 Healy is a wicked liar and deserves to be kicked.3
We are staying in unusually beautiful surroundings and in a comfortable house, but it rains, rains “every day,”4 not only in Grundlsee, by the way.
I hope you and your family, which is now complete again, are benefiting from the rustic solitude in which I assume you to be.
With cordial greetings.
Yours,
Freud
