Dear Jones,
I hope that the printing of the translation of my new Vorlesungen is not so far advanced that the correction of an error could not be permitted.
On p. 227 of the last Vorlesung I quote a famous dictum by Kant. But this quotation is wrong and does the philosopher an injustice. I will obtain the right wording and in a few days will send you a different version of this passage for the use of your translator. Thanks!
