Dear Professor,
My letters to you nowadays are much scarcer, but whenever I write to Anna I always think that I am writing to you as well. Your generous gift to the Eder Memorial Fund was highly appreciated. Between the two funds (the Zionist and the Analytical) we shall probably get about £500—a sum with which one can really do something. He thinks that both Simmel and Frau Deri have been subjected to the usual American flattening influence.2
My personal news is good. The children thrive and we are all in good health. Nesta May, who has a passionate Viennese temperament, has a pathological jealousy of her little brother and is being analysed by Dr. Winnicott3—our only man [c
