Dear Jones,
So both “cuttings”1 were from you. I have received others of a dreadful sort (“Sunday Chronicle” and “Sunday Referee”) which I should have thought possible only of American journalism. Behind the whole uproar is nothing other than a foreboding about the second essay on Moses, which will appear quite soon in the fourth issue of Imago. It is actually a historical study and may seem out of place in the Internat. Journal. But, as you decide.
