Hamburg, July 20, 1875
Dear Friend,
I am sailing at midnight on the Huddersfield for Grimsby, from where, without delay, I shall proceed to Manchester. Hamburg is a very interesting city. That business with the money no longer bothers me, and I certainly hope that I shall not touch your three talers.
Remember me to my friends and accept the regards of
