Dear Professor Freud,
I have been gadding about again like mad. For a fortnight I have pottered around Lake Constance and its inlets with my sail-boat, a marvellous change and relaxation. At the same time the basic principles of the ΨA way of life have been observed pretty strictly. For my morning devotions I religiously analysed dreams. Last week Riklin was with me, seconding my ΨA exertions. I am almost entirely destitute of news, thank goodness! From Abraham I have heard that Marcinowski has energetically protested against belonging to the I. ΨA. A. It seems to give people the horrors. And Muthmann has shied off too.2 From Budapest one goes on hearing nothing.
