24 January 1912, Vienna, IX. Berggasse 19
Dear friend,
I have no desire to intrude on your concentration but merely wish to inform you that I have taken Bjerre's paper straight to Deuticke, and that I myself have corrected it. You see, it is just as well that I hadn't written to him yet.
A vague report of your newspaper storm in Zürich has already reached me through a patient from St. Gallen.
The second edition of Gradiva has gone to the printer's. In a short postscript I make use of the hint you gave me when you discovered the two Übermächte stories.1
Imago is ready for the printers. They are to begin setting on 1 February.
With kind regards to you and family,
Yours, FREUD
See above, 50 J n. 2. In his postscript, Freud credited the hints to “a friend of mine.”
