Internationale Psychoanalytische Vereinigung
Küsnach-Zürich, 31 January 1913
Dear Professor Freud,
Enclosed please find the drafts of the contracts. Please let me have your views. Would you also bring the drafts to the attention of the editors and send the contract with the publisher on to Herr Heller.
The financial settlement with Bergmann can be effected only after I have the consent of the Association as a whole. As I think I have told you already, the compensation for Bergmann will be furnished from the Association's fund. I thank you in the name of the Association for your kind offer.
Please would you let me know whether 7/8 September (Sunday and Monday) as date of the Congress is convenient to you personally as well as to the Vienna Society. Meeting place: Munich.

For Vol. V Part I of the Jahrbuch we have the following in preparation: 1. a paper by Pfister on cryptography and glossolalia. 2. Jones on obsessional neurosis, case material. (I withhold comment on this paper.) 3. Itten: Dem. praec. case material. 4. Sadger: On the sadomasochistic complex. 5. My American lectures on the theory of ΨA.1
I have no illusions about the forthcoming review of my paper. It has been badly received all round. A beginner's japes, evidently. Understanding is one of the hardest tasks in the transference.
With best regards,
